Why registration matters
Every practising pharmacist in South Africa must be registered with the South African Pharmacy Council (SAPC). Tanya's registration (P37316) means her advice, oversight and medication management are provided within a recognised professional and ethical framework — giving families and facilities confidence in the care she provides.
Blister-packed on-site at a licensed pharmacy
Pharm-Assist works in partnership with The Local Choice Pharmacy Sanlamhof, which dispenses every patient's medication under prescription. Tanya personally prepares each blister pack on-site at this licensed pharmacy, working closely with the dispensing team — giving families and facilities an added layer of accuracy and accountability.
Why this matters
Because blister-packing happens inside a licensed dispensing pharmacy rather than off-site, every pack is prepared under proper pharmacy conditions and checked by the same pharmacist managing the patient's ongoing medication — not handed off to a separate, disconnected step.
Experience you can rely on
Tanya brings years of pharmacy experience, including extensive hands-on work in blister-packing and day-to-day medication management for older persons and chronic patients. This experience means she understands not only the clinical side of medication, but the practical, real-world challenges families and caregivers face every day — from missed repeats to confusing dosage changes.
Why Pharm-Assist was started
Pharm-Assist was created after seeing, time and again, how much stress and risk poor medication coordination adds to families already carrying a lot. Prescriptions get missed, doses get confused, and no one has a full clinical picture. Tanya started Pharm-Assist to give families and care facilities a dedicated pharmacist who takes ownership of that picture — so medication is one less thing to worry about.
Professional. Compassionate. Detail-focused.
Professional
Every review, pack and report is handled to the clinical standard expected of a registered pharmacist.
Compassionate
Behind every medication list is a person and a family. Tanya treats every patient with patience and care.
Detail-Focused
Doses, timing, duplications and expiry dates are checked carefully — because the details are what matter most.
